English reading practice - Conclusion of Harry Potter Series (B1/B2 intermediate level English)

J.K. Rowling's seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," was eagerly awaited in the world of books. People all over the world were very excited for it to come out, especially in Britain where it was first published.


As the release date got closer, fans of Harry Potter got more and more excited. They couldn't wait to find out what would happen to their favourite characters and to solve the mysteries in the last book. The release date in Britain was on this day 21st July 2007, and it was a big deal for millions of readers.


At midnight on the release day, bookstores in the United Kingdom opened their doors to huge crowds of fans. Everyone wanted to get their hands on "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." People came dressed up as wizards, casting pretend spells, and talking excitedly about the characters and what might happen in the story. It was like a magical celebration!
