David Attenborough is a famous person in the world of natural history and wildlife conservation. Born on this day 8th May 1926, in London, Attenborough has spent most of his life exploring and documenting the wonders of the natural world.
Attenborough began his career as a television producer in the 1950s, working for the BBC. He soon became a presenter and hosted a variety of programs, including "Zoo Quest", "The Living Planet," and "Life on Earth." These programs brought the natural world into people's homes.
During his career, Attenborough has travelled to every continent on the planet, exploring the incredible diversity of life that lives in the natural world. He has a deep love of nature and has been a tireless advocate for its conservation.

Attenborough's documentaries have covered a lot of topics, from where birds fly and the behaviour of primates to the impact of climate change on the planet.
