In the world of entertainment, there are special people who make our favourite characters come alive and leave a lasting impression on us. Peter Hawkins, a famous voice actor, is one such person. He used his voice to create memorable characters that many generations have enjoyed. From the scary Daleks in Doctor Who to the adorable Bill and Ben, Peter Hawkins became well-known for his ability to change his voice and play different roles.


Peter Hawkins had a unique talent. He could make his voice sound like many different characters, each with their own personality and charm. Whether it was the mechanical and chilling voices of the Daleks or the gentle and mischievous voices of Bill and Ben, he captured the essence of each character he played. He used his voice in various projects, such as animated shows and commercials, to show his skills as a versatile voice actor.


One of Peter Hawkins' most impressive accomplishments was his work on the famous British science fiction series called Doctor Who. He brought the evil and robotic Daleks to life with his voice. The way he made the Daleks sound strange and scary, along with their catchphrase "Exterminate!", made people feel frightened. The Daleks became some of the most famous villains in television history.



Besides Doctor Who, Peter Hawkins also made young audiences happy as the voice of Bill and Ben, the Flowerpot Men. These lovable characters, with their funny conversations and adventures, became favourites in many homes. Peter Hawkins used his voice to make Bill and Ben sound warm and funny, which is why they are still loved by people of all ages.


Peter Hawkins' talent and dedication have made a big impact on voice acting and popular culture. His unique voice made characters come alive and transported audiences into imaginary worlds. The characters he played became very important to people and will always be remembered.


Not only did Peter Hawkins voice characters, but he also inspired other voice actors to be creative and explore new ways to use their voices. His work showed everyone how powerful voices can be in telling stories and captivating audiences.


He passed away on this day 8th July 2006 at the age of 82 but will always be remembered through the characters he voiced.
