Today is the day to say the final goodbye to our long-reigning monarch Queen Elizabeth II. So out of respect, I'm going to keep today short and sweet.
Over the last week, we have seen the outpouring of love around the country and the world. Flowers have been laid and people have stood in line for up to 24h to pay their respects. We have seen the Royal family standing vigil by the coffin and venturing out to see the people who share in their loss.
Most of us have only ever known a Queen on the throne since she held the position for 70 years. Now we have a King, Charles III. There will be so many things that need to be changed in the coming months and years, from our stamps and coins to our post boxes and passports. I don't think we even realise how much at this point. Many people who never met the Queen have been affected by her death and aren't completely sure why. They just feel the immense loss for the nation and a sense that everything will now be different. We had the belief of a child that she would live forever. She seemed so strong until her last few days.

Today many of us watched the funeral or took some time to ourselves to reflect and think of the loved ones we have lost. Now we start to move forward under a new leader so will I leave you all for now with - Long live the King.
I will return to my usual chat about our big move to Barbados next week. We are nearly ready I promise.
