Barbados likes its BBQ and Just Grillin' is a great example of this style of food. Every time I have visited this restaurant it is full of locals and tourists alike. They describe themselves as a casual restaurant that offers good-tasting grilled food at a reasonable price, and I would say they have hit the nail on the head.
Food
The food is grilled and they have a variety of platters, sandwiches, salads and wraps. The platters come with a choice of two side dishes and can have shrimp, steak, fish, spare ribs, chicken, burger or hot dog so there is something for everyone. The seasoning and char-grilled flavours are amazing and the size of the meal is bordering on a bit too big for me, but they are so good I don't want to waste anything. They even serve dessert but I haven't had room to try one, so I can't say how good they are. Cooked fresh each time you just wait for your order number to be called and collect your meal from the window.

Drinks
You order your drinks with your food and then take the ticket to the bar area for them to be prepared. I always get the fruit punch which is blended with lots of ice (I always get brain freeze) and has a beautiful fruity flavour. They have a full bar, so offer sodas, wine, beer, spirits with mixers and even some cocktails.
Service
The staff are mainly in the kitchen as you order from the window, but everyone is helpful and they explain what you need to do with your tickets etc.
Atmosphere
I love the style of the restaurant and the relaxed atmosphere. It is great when you just want good food in a relaxed environment.
Overall thoughts
This is good food at a good price. The food is consistently excellent. It is a relaxed restaurant that I keep going back to! If you want to eat like a local, eat here!
