Barbados has quite a few street-food style restaurants and from my experience, this one is pretty great. Just set back from the 2A Highway, I didn't know what to expect, but they have put some effort into the decoration to make it welcoming, they have parking and the locals seem to use it, so this is usually a good sign.

Food

The food is Thai and there are a good number of dishes to choose from. They are served in the traditional cardboard takeout containers, but there are tables you can sit and eat at and you can have chopsticks or a fork depending on your skills. As a non-meat eater, I can sometimes struggle to find something suitable but here I actually had a few choices. I had the traditional Green Thai Curry with Mahi Mahi and my partner had Phad Siew the king of 'street food'. Both were delicious and generous servings.

Drinks

There are the usual drinks on offer here with sodas, juices etc just have a look in the fridge to see what they have on the day.

Service

The staff are fun and friendly. They were singing along to the radio, laughing and joking and really made us feel welcome. You can pay by card which is a nice advantage too.

Atmosphere

The restaurant is set back from the road down a bit of a gravel road so I didn't expect much, but as you can see in the photo below, they have really made it look nice. They have picnic benches to eat at and have covered the area in case of rain. It even has beautiful lighting.

Overall thoughts

This is good food and a nice change from the local bars that usually have variations on the same meals. It might be slightly more than I would pay at home for a similar meal, but not by much compared to many in Barbados. I feel this is a price worth paying to live on such a beautiful island. Lemongrass was a nice change and was exceptionally tasty. They have another trailer outlet in Worthing (on the main road) and a unit in the Limegrove Centre in Holetown.
