This fun restaurant is in the small East Coast town of Bathsheba. We went in the low season and it didn't have much competition as the other restaurant that was open seemed very expensive. I would suggest a visit here as the food and drinks were great.
Food
They have a standard menu available all week and also have a special each day. We had the fish cutter with Mahi Mahi. This is a fairly standard choice in Barbados but Uncle Joe's took it to the next level. Full of flavour and served with fries and coleslaw so was plenty for our lunch.
Drinks
They have a full bar and we saw lots of different cocktails being delivered to some of the other tables but we went for the traditional fruit punch. Again they took it to the next level with an umbrella and cut fruit. It was great!

Service
The staff were great. Greeting and taking our order quickly and efficiently. We have been in some restaurants where you have to stand around and wait for help but this isn't one of them, they were very attentive.
Atmosphere
I like the decoration and the fact that you are just over the road from the impressive views of the waves and rock formations adds even more to this restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here (maybe more than my visit to the town in general)

Overall thoughts
A lovely restaurant that for me was the redeeming gem of a fairly unimpressive town. If they were closer I would visit again.
On the 1st December 2023 Uncle Joe's had a devastating fire they are hoping to rebuild but check details before planning your visit.
